Minnie's Food Pantry located in Plano, TX, is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides healthy, nutritious meals and resources by way of red carpet treatment. Founded on April 1, 2008, by Dr. Cheryl Jackson and named in honor of her mother, Minnie Hawthorne-Ewing, Minnie's Food Pantry takes pride in providing quality food with dignity, integrity, and respect to those served.
Hunger is a growing epidemic and Minnie's Food Pantry is constantly working to keep up with the ever-growing need for supplemental food assistance. Minnie's Food Pantry has proudly provided over 4 million meals to families in North Texas and has received over 140,000 volunteer hours, being named the #1 Charity in Dallas three years in a row. Through our Feed Just One program, Minnie's Food Pantry assures that anyone who walks through our doors receives not only healthy meals for their household, but encouragement and hope, as they are loved on by volunteers and staff. Through singing, dancing, and laughing, Minnie's Food Pantry builds an uplifting atmosphere to bring the red carpet experience to life!
Minnie's Food Pantry receives no government funding and all resources come from individuals, organizations and corporations that have been touched by the impact our organization has in and around the areas we serve.
